I want to use the songs, but do I really need to put a link inside my game? credits to the author not enough?

Hello! A credit to the author is just fine, the terms of the license mention providing a link to the CC license itself, but that can also be provided in the description of your game (eg. game page on itch.io), not necessarily inside of it. Hope that helps!

I'll put the credits for sure, but by putting the license link only on the itchio page, don't I need to put the license link in the game description on the other stores anymore? like steam, nintendo switch, opera GX and others? how can people who download the game on nintendo switch open the license link ._.)

Do I understand correctly, I pay 15$ to purchase the pack and still need to put your name in the credits? Great music, but this requirement is kinda a game changer for me, can't use it in commercial products.

Yes, that's correct. Also, putting my name in the credit screen won't prevent you to use this music for commercial purposes. P.S.: I'm an award-winning composer who has scored for Vampire Survivors - having my name in your game could be useful, if anything :)

Not all commercial games have credit screens, so it makes an additional requirement for a developer to satisfy just to add only one credit notice. I say about 2-3 hours to design and develop, 50$ per hour and we get 150$ of expenses just to add one extra screen.

I hope this makes sense why we decided to go with another pack, sorry.

No worries, it's your game. Thanks anyway for checking out my music, cheers :)

This is a great pack good job!

Thank you! :D
